Mission Statement
The mission of the hnsht’minn, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe Youth Shelter is to provide a safe and culturally appropriate short term care facility for Coeur d’Alene Tribal children and children from other tribes residing on the Coeur d’Alene reservation who have been removed from the care of a parent/guardian. We will treat children with respect and dignity; they will be comforted and protected because our children are the future of our Tribe.
