Education Donations Request

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe recognizes that education holds the key to our future success as a state, a region and a nation. We have always believed in the power of education; it is a part of our culture and one of our top priorities. In fact, we value education so much that our leadership insisted on returning 5% of our net gaming revenues to the financial support of education as part of our 1992 gaming compact with the State of Idaho. We committed to this voluntarily and we are proud to stand by that commitment twenty years later. Over the past two decades, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe has donated more than $26 million and counting to education around the region.

All schools and nonprofit organizations interested in requesting education funds are required to fill out a short application detailing the funding request. applications are due March 1 to be eligible for potential funding. Funds will be made available by the following school year unless otherwise announced.

If you have any questions regarding the Tribe’s education donations or need clarification regarding the new procedure, please contact the Tribe’s Public Relations Manager.
