Projects & Initiatives

The Office of Strategic Initiatives & Development often has a hand in reports, grants, and projects throughout the tribe. This page below is a collection of reports from past and ongoing projects.

Tribal Comprehensive Plan

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe Comprehensive Plan lays the groundwork for all strategic planning and actions involving the Tribe. This plan informs all other plans. The Strategic Initiatives & Development department helps to ensure these plans continue to move forward in cohesiveness and collaboration with all partners.

Estimated to be completed in 2025, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe’s Comprehensive plan will serve as a guide for development of the Coeur d’Alene Indian reservation over the next 10 years.

While Comprehensive plans are generally broad in their goals and direction, the Tribe’s plan is Hybrid, including specific actions to meet the strategic need of the community. Many actions necessary to implement this plan are described in many sub-plans, some are already in existence, and some are yet to be created.
