Our goal is to help participants identify those strengths, overcome employment barriers, and build a future that reflects their personal goals and aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Vocational Rehabilitation?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federally funded employment program that helps individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, maintain, or advance in employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career Renewal is funded through the U.S. Department of Education under the Rehabilitation Act and provides individualized employment services based on eligibility and an approved employment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career Renewal is an eligibility-based program, not an entitlement program. Every participant completes an application and eligibility determination before services can begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who May Be Eligible?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may qualify if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are an enrolled member of a Federally Recognized Tribe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live on or within 50 miles of the Coeur d&#8217;Alene Reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a documented physical, mental, emotional, or substance use disorder that creates a substantial barrier to employment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intend to pursue competitive, integrated employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eligibility is determined individually through an application, assessment, and review of supporting documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Services<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services are individualized and based on each participant&#8217;s employment goal. class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1 \u2013 Submit an Application<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complete the Career Renewal application and provide any requested documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2 \u2013 Orientation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attend a Career Renewal orientation to learn about the program, eligibility requirements, participant rights, responsibilities, and available services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Orientation is held every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Virtual attendance may be available upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3 \u2013 Eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your counselor will review your application and supporting documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eligibility is generally determined within <strong>60 days<\/strong> after all required information has been received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 4 \u2013 Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If eligible, you and your counselor will develop an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your IPE outlines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your employment class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 5 \u2013 Begin Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your IPE is approved, Career Renewal will begin providing approved vocational rehabilitation services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Family-Centered Services<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employment success often involves the support of family and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With your permission, family members may participate in planning and supporting your employment goals throughout the rehabilitation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe successful rehabilitation happens through collaboration and partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no cost to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services are provided based on eligibility, financial need (when applicable), available funding, and an approved Individualized Plan for Employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Does Career Renewal pay for college?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p
