families and staff in the implementation of school readiness goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will support increased family well-being in the areas of physical and mental health, secure relationships, and financial stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will seek additional funding to support services for children and families living within the service class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-section-separator is-style-separator-large\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coeur d\u2019Alene Tribe Early Childhood Learning Center houses all early childhood programs for the Coeur d\u2019Alene Tribe. ECLC provides comprehensive services in the areas of education, disabilities, mental health, health, nutrition, and family services to 110 qualifying children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Head Start<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HS is a national preschool program designed to provide comprehensive developmental services to meet the needs of qualifying children ages 3-5 years old and their families. ECLC currently provides HS services to 36 preschool children in center-based classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Early Head Start<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EHS is a national program for infants\/toddlers designed to provide comprehensive developmental services to meet the needs of qualifying children ages 0-2 and their families. ECLC currently provides EHS services to 40 infants and toddlers in center-based classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child Care Development Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CCDF is a child care program for low-income Tribal families that aims to increase the availability and accessibility of quality child care services. ECLC currently operates one full-day CCDF classroom, providing services to 16 infants and toddlers and 6 preschoolers. ECLC also provides after school care for a limited number of children of parents who are working or going to school. CCDF is a fee for service program. A sliding scale is available for qualifying families, based on household income verification, which may subsidize the cost of CCDF services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FS is an early intervention program that provides referrals for services to children birth to age six.
