"A Place of Healing"
Do you or someone you care about have a problem with alcohol or another drug?
Or, maybe you aren't sure and want to find out. hnpa'aqhn is a holistic
outpatient program of tgwe'l hnqhesnet, the Coeur d'Alene Tribe's social
service's program. hnpa' aqhn means "a place of healing." That is what is
critically needed for people suffering from alcohol/drug problems and for their
family members. Together, we can learn to live in balance. Alcohol and drugs are
not traditional!
Mission
To provide quality substance abuse services to members of the Coeur d'Alene
Tribe and to members of other tribes who live within the boundaries of the Coeur
d'Alene Reservation.
Goal
To help individuals of all ages and families to be empowered to live the lives
they were born to live without the ill effects of alcohol or other drugs on
individual, family or tribe. There are no judgments in our work, only caring and
concern. hnpa'aqhn staff members work not only with the person suffering from
alcohol abuse or abuse of another drug, they are also available to work with
people who have family members or significant others who are abusing alcohol or
other drugs.
