Strategic Plans

The Lake Management Department acknowledges the need for a strategic plan to guide all efforts related to Tribal and non-Tribal management of Coeur d'Alene Lake and its tributaries. This Plan is viewed as the umbrella under which the Tribe - State Lake Management Plan, the Coeur d'Alene River metals contamination cleanup, shoreline development issues, encroachments management, aquatic weeds management and many other issues will be addressed.

Development of the Tribal Waters Strategic Management Plan is scheduled to begin during May 2005.
