Summer Youth Internship

Notice: Summer Youth Internship application deadline has been extended to April 17th. Any application submitted after the deadline will be placed on a space available list.

This Summer Youth Internship Program was developed to align “on the job experience” with education. The program is designed to “grow our own” future workforce by giving youth the skills and academics needed to fill any position they desire within the Coeur d’Alene Tribe or elsewhere. We hope that our youth will become positive community members and will have the capabilities to lead the Tribe in the coming years.

Application Information

April 17, 2019 – Deadline for On-line application, resume, and cover letter.

April 22 – May 10 – Interview to be scheduled. Each applicant will be notified of their date and time of the interview.  Applicants will be notified of their position by a Letter of Hire.

May 2019 – Upon hire, Summer Youth Internship Orientation and Drug testing – dates to be determined.

June 17, 2019 – Start of the Department of Education’s Summer Youth Internship Program (a six-week session).

July 26, 2019 – End of the Department of Education’s Summer Youth Internship Program.
