Education Donations Request

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe recognizes that education holds the key to our future success as a state, a region and a nation. We have always believed in the power of education; it is a part of our culture and one of our top priorities. In fact, we value education so much that our leadership insisted on returning 5% of our net gaming revenues to the financial support of education as part of our 1992 gaming compact with the State of Idaho. We committed to this voluntarily and we are proud to stand by that commitment twenty years later. Over the past two decades, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe has donated more than $26 million and counting to education around the region.

All schools and nonprofit organizations interested in requesting education funds are required to fill out a short application detailing the funding request. Applications must be submitted by December 31st of the current calendar year in order to receive funding for the following calendar year. We will notify funding recipients by March of the funding year and checks will be delivered shortly thereafter.

Please return applications by mail to:
850 A Street
PO Box 408
Plummer, ID 83851

Applications may also be faxed to 208-686-8813

If you have any questions regarding the Tribe’s education donations or need clarification regarding the new procedure, please contact the Tribe’s Public Relations Director, Jennifer Fletcher at 208-686-2023 or jfletcher@cdatribe-nsn.gov
